Gail Picco, former president of Gail Picco Associates, is an award-winning fundraiser, communications consultant and video producer. In the last 20 years, she has designed, developed and implemented communications and fundraising campaigns publicizing a breadth of social issues from women’s health to public education.

Prior to establishing Gail Picco Associates in 1990, she worked as a counsellor at Interval House, a shelter for assaulted women and children, where she designed and managed a fundraising and communications program to promote awareness of violence against women. She has been a regular commentator on CBC Newsworld, W Network and Slice.

As director of personal giving and communication services at Stephen Thomas, Gail is a principal strategist with a wealth of experience in campaign strategy, messaging and direction. Gail advises a range of ST clients – from local to national charities.
