Let’s get digital, digital, let me hear your online talk!
By Taslim Somani on February 25, 2011
It’s becoming increasingly hard to keep up with the changes in the digital space. What’s new? What’s working? What isn’t? And, everyone’s got a different opinion! Heck, if I’m feeling it, I’ll bet you are too. Here are just some of the things I’ve been hearing from clients and industry leaders alike:
‘The 2010’s are going to belong to Facebook.’
‘My next advertising campaign HAS to include QR codes.’
‘Tablet computing will take-off – and that’s going to change how we all use computers.’
‘Google grants – you mean Google will give me $10K in free advertising every month? But how do I get started & do it well?’
‘Mobile marketing & the mobile wallet – the mobile commerce revolution is upon us.’
‘Ultimately, it has to be about ROI – so – show me the money!’
In times of rapid change, and I strongly believe that we are in the crazy midst of it now, it’s really hard to make decisions about where to invest, and what to do. There are no precedents. There may be examples of successes & failures – but probably not exactly what you had in mind. Much of what we’re all doing is groundbreaking, which is scary and exciting at the same time. One thing is for certain though – you don’t have to go it alone.
Now is the perfect time to sign up for Digital Leap 2011. It’s a 1-day conference that brings together an experienced group of professionals who have achieved results in our brave new digital world, specifically in the non-profit sector. And, Digital Leap 2011 provides you with the opportunity to get together with colleagues in the non-profit sector who are also experimenting in the digital space.
So, let’s learn from one another. Let’s share our ideas and experiences. Let’s challenge each other (and the experts too!). And let’s come away with inspiration and tactical ideas about where to go next and raise some money in the process.
