A capital campaign can transform the way an organization sees itself and its ability to meet the needs of people and communities it serves. A typical capital campaign is about bricks and mortar – about raising money to build a new hospital wing, add a building to a university or purchase land. ST directs conventional capital campaigns. But we also apply the capital campaign model to design campaigns that will, through endowment or an injection of a relatively large amount of funds, transform an organization’s ability to meet the changing needs of the people it serves. We specialize in campaigns with goals between $2 million and $20 million. Our range of services includes: Assessing your readiness for campaign activities; conducting feasibility and planning studies; building your case for support; developing a communications strategy that has resonance with your audiences, helping you recruit and train volunteers; and developing a campaign plan; providing full campaign direction and support. The firm has recently completed work on the Futures Campaign for Kids Help Phone, a $7.5 million campaign that will transform the way the organization engages with, and counsels, children online. We are currently in the pre-campaign phase of a $20 million campaign to build the Daniel Libeskind-designed International Jewish War Veterans Memorial, Flames of Memory. “The focus, discipline and messaging resulting from a transformational campaign can change the way an organization thinks about itself, its audience and its donors.” GAIL PICCO.
