Taslim
I am passionate about all things digital; the latest trends, best practices, how the digital space is evolving, and what the next big thing will be. And, just like you probably do, I too love a great YouTube video! But more than anything, I’m actually concerned with getting results! I look for inspiration everywhere – both in the commercial and nonprofit sectors, in Canada and abroad.
From the time I started my career in the nonprofit sector, I was always intrigued by what was going on online. Armed with an MBA, I transitioned to working in the digital space since the big boom and subsequent bust. My digital career trajectory has included working for a startup.com (complete with pool table, rollerblades amok in the office, and a fully stocked beer fridge; after many incarnations, I’m proud to say my good old startup.com is still alive!), a Fortune 100 company, and now ST – guiding digital projects from emails and online campaigns, to website development, search marketing campaigns and more, all for a good cause. I’m thrilled to be here!
My blog contains tips and tricks on getting the most out of your online fundraising / marketing program. I hope you find it useful. And since we’re now all conversant in Web 2.0, please share your thoughts so we can dialogue together in this brave new online world.
